Your rides stay on your phone
Rides, tracks, waypoints, POIs, notes, photos, planned routes and shapes are stored on your phone. They are private by default. Nothing you record is uploaded, and nothing you record is used to draw a public trail. They leave the phone only when you share or export a file yourself.
What the app sends
- Map queries to our data server: the area of the map you are looking at, the point you tap, and what you type into search. That is how it returns the trails, parcels and land under you. No name, no account, no ride history.
- Public map and data sources: map tiles, weather, fire, snow and evacuation zone layers are fetched from public sources such as the U.S. Geological Survey, NOAA and the National Weather Service, NIFC and CAL FIRE, and place search uses Photon (OpenStreetMap). Those requests include the map area you are looking at.
Your GPS position is used on the phone to record and navigate. It is not sent to us.
No accounts yet
There is no sign-up and no login. There are no ads and no trackers in the app, and your data is never sold or shared.
